SMS Plugin for WordPress
Well, that wasn’t too painful.
I’ve just finished work on my first ever WorPress plugin, SMS Press. It gives WordPress admins the option to send global SMS notifications whenever a new post is published.
Features:
- Send SMS to over 200 Countries
- Built-in phone book
- Custom recipient lists for individual posts
- Credit check feature
- Truncation and concatenation of SMS
- Role-based plugin access control
- Choose normal or SSL delivery for SMS
The SMS provider in this instance is Txtlocal as it’s very quick, only uses carrier-grade networks and has a tiny footprint.
